everything was good. staff manager was excellent apart from Wednesday night I ask night-porter if he could find out what the noise was coming through the wall. sound like bathroom airflow , we walk around an he said it was the heating . was told he leave note for day staff . As he had this problem night before . I must been tired sleep through that night . morning I as the young lady who was in charge to be told heating go off at 8 pm. which was not the case as night porter told me he try to turn off. Then told me no one else had complained. i recorded on my phone but hard to hear as my phone ( new ones) don’t pickup back ground noise. I ask few of the other residents that was on our side of hotel they all had said they heard it too. when I ask the reception lady she told me they had but I was out of order asking others . so if u book room don’t book over heating side- 101 to 105 .. Shame as all other staff was above expectations. All she had to say was I’m sorry you had bad night .. she put a damper to end of fantastic time ..

Reception manager very pleasant, but had difficulty finding our booking. When checked in we were advised included breakfast. The room was clean bedding and towels good quality and fresh, bathroom very clean and modern, the room also included a fan which was very welcome due to the hot weather. Carpet in the room needed cleaning, and the rooms are only of an adequate size for two people sharing. Breakfast, was not included and we paid an additional £25 for 2 which was expensive as there were items missing, and not replenished/refreshed frequently. The public areas were very clean and tidy, with lots of light and spacious. The location was within walking distance of main attractions Tower, Winter Gardens, and opposite the beach, also near to tram stops.

We enjoined the breakfast as it was a buffet style which we all prefer over the traditional waited on service. Only dislike to this was the toasters…..seemed to take a lifetime to cook the toast. The room was suitable for us (family of 4) and the bds we found super compfy. Reception staff were always on hand if required and were always pleasant every time we passed. Guy in the bar area was great too. Good laugh and super helpful also. We had burgers for tea on our first night….portions are huge and they really were absolutely amazing. Location was key for us too. We didn’t want anything too far north or anything too far south….always helps having a tram stop right outside too if you want to explore further than your legs can carry you.

Good location for central Blackpool attractions. Only 20 minutes walk to the tower. Tram stop across the road. Free large car park. Nice terrace looking out to sea. Lovely warm welcome from staff and when we had to move rooms at midnight (a fuse blew all the electric in our room) the man on duty was great, very efficient and couldn't do enough for us.

The hotel seems really nice when you first enter but it is clearly dated from the minute you get past reception. The lift felt like something from a 1960s horror movie and the room was very bog-standard with views of other peoples windows, a fire escape and many many seagulls.
